Pastor K. A. David

Personal & Ministerial Background: Pastor K. A. David, a dedicated servant of God, was born and raised in Kalavoor, a serene village in the Alappuzha district of Kerala. Raised in a spiritually nurturing environment, he was actively involved in Sunday School and Y.P.E. (Young People’s Endeavour) from a young age, fostering a deep-rooted faith and passion for ministry.

Academic & Theological Education: He pursued his early education, followed by a Drawing Diploma from SS School of Arts, Alappuzha. Although he initially aspired to build a career as a freehand artist, both locally and internationally, a divine calling led him to full-time ministry. In obedience to this calling, he enrolled in the India Church of God Theological Seminary, Thiruvalla, where he successfully completed his Bachelor of Theology (BTh).

Ministerial Journey & Leadership: During his theological studies, Pastor K. A. David pioneered a new fellowship in Mariyappally, near Kottayam, which flourished into a thriving church. His commitment and leadership were recognized in 2012, when he was ordained under the esteemed leadership of the Church of God International. Over the years, he has actively led church ministries across multiple locations, including Nattakam, Kozhencherry, Parakkulam, Vellappally, and Othara. His impactful contributions include: 

Evangelism & Church Growth – Leading congregations, nurturing believers, and facilitating spiritual revival. 

Baptism & Discipleship – Guiding individuals in their faith journey and administering believer’s baptism. 

Infrastructure Development– Overseeing the construction and expansion of church buildings to accommodate growing congregations.

Worship & Music Ministry: A passionate worship leader and songwriter, Pastor K. A. David has composed and performed numerous gospel songs under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. His musical contributions have graced numerous spiritual gatherings and conventions, uplifting congregations through heartfelt worship.

Prayer & Counseling Initiatives: Guided by divine vision, he initiated a unique Annual Prayer Month (June), a 20-year-long tradition that has been a catalyst for extraordinary divine interventions. Further strengthening his pastoral care, he earned a Diploma in Counseling from Peniel Counseling Center, Kottayam, enabling him to offer spiritual guidance and emotional support to those in need. 

Contributions & Community Engagement: Literary Contributions – Published articles and poems in various Christian periodicals. 

Leadership in Church of God– A decade-long association with the Church of God Convention Choir and a three-year tenure as the Prayer Board State Secretary. 

Public Preaching & Revival Meetings – A sought-after speaker at evangelistic crusades and revival conferences.

Family & Personal Life: Pastor K. A. David is blessed with a supportive life partner, Pauline David, a native of Kumily, Idukki. After completing her X-ray and ECG Technician certification, she chose to dedicate her life to full-time ministry alongside her husband. They are blessed with three children: 

Samuel David (M.Com) – Actively engaged in professional and ministerial pursuits. 

Daniel David (M.Div) – Preparing for theological and pastoral leadership. 

Abigail David – Pursuing Physiotherapy studies in Mangalore.
